Ôme - l'âme des senteurs, a world sent for your interiors

I created Ôme at the end of summer 2025, but in reality, this adventure began long before that!

I have been creating my own scented products for my home and my loved ones for several years now. I have always loved imagining atmospheres and working with scents that comfort and make people feel good.

And then, little by little, this passion became obvious. I wanted to offer creations that reflect who I am and that find their place in the everyday lives of other lovers of delicate fragrances.

Ôme... Is there a story behind this name?

Yes, Ôme is all a story. First, there is ‘home’, that intimate space where we feel safe, and then there is ‘soul’.

For me, the soul of a home is its scents. Scents tell the story of who we are; they create an atmosphere, an emotion, a memory.

Ôme - l'âme des senteurs is based on this idea: giving a place an olfactory identity, transforming an interior into a warm, soothing and lively cocoon.

Sharing a gentle feeling of well-being and pampering through her range, which is handcrafted in her workshop in the Gard region, Ornella takes care to select ‘quality ingredients such as European GMO-free rapeseed wax, fragrances developed in Grasse, environmentally friendly materials and delicate textures’.

I trained myself, gradually. I tested, tried, adjusted and, above all, started over many times.

But in the end, I managed to create a range that really suits me, with products that reflect my values: high-quality raw materials, as mentioned above, and products that are not harmful to health.

I then enjoyed developing scented creations to embellish every room in the house: scented melts, mists, powders, diffusers... Products that are both sensory and aesthetic.

What about the selection of scents?

It's an essential step. Of course, I try not to rely solely on my personal tastes, in order to offer a range that will appeal to a wide audience.

However, I remain faithful to my universe: warm, soft, delicate scents that naturally find their place in a home and can be enjoyed by the whole family.

I also like the idea that each room can have its own olfactory identity.

When it comes to new products, I work from a consistent base that I then adapt according to the seasons and key moments of the year (holidays and seasons). This allows me to maintain my identity while offering limited-edition creations that are unique and tailored to each period.

Does a panel of testers share their impressions and help you decide which direction to take?

Yes, of course. I mainly have my creations tested by my loved ones, family and friends, who play a very important role in the development of the brand.

When you work with scents on a daily basis, you end up getting used to them. Getting feedback from outside sources is essential for making adjustments and understanding what works best and what doesn't.

Feedback during sales is also very valuable: customers' choices and spontaneous reactions help me enormously in guiding the range and making the right choices as much as possible.

Any upcoming projects or collaborations?

My goal is to develop Ôme while preserving what matters most to me: human contact.

I enjoy presenting my products, letting people smell them, and explaining how they are made. Many people are only familiar with industrial products and are surprised to discover that a healthy, authentic, handmade product is not necessarily more expensive and often lasts longer.

Since 2025, I have been participating more in craft markets to meet people. I would also like to develop collaborations with beauty salons, spas, hairdressers and hotel residences, particularly around scented mists and mood creations. And there you have it, the message is out there!

Similarly, new collections are on the way.

My wish is to offer Ôme to both individuals and professionals, for warm, soothing and welcoming spaces.

Any final comments?

Through Ôme - l'âme des senteurs, I want to remind people that our home is a refuge. A place where we should feel good, calm and enveloped.

My creations are designed to be moments of gentleness, simple rituals, fragrances that accompany the seasons and life.
