FR – Since its former years, in 2012, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride takes to the roads over 1,100 towns and cities worldwide to raise awareness of men’s health.

Today, some 110 countries take part in the event, attracting an ever-growing audience and increasing support, both media and financial, thanks to the funds raised to support men’s health.

A brief Introduction

Founded in Sydney in 2012 by Mark Hawwa, modelled on Movember (a charity event also originating in Australia and organised since 2003 by the Movember Charity Foundation), The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride has, over the years, become the largest motorcycle gathering for fundraising.

Similarly, and in the same spirit, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride launched the Movember-backed mental health programmes for riders in partnership with Movember, with whom they have been collaborating since 2016.

Did you know? Since 2021, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride has also come as

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive, driven in classic cars, a charity ride already having 64 participating countries.

Dgr 2026

From the 2,500 motorcyclists who took part in 2012 at the very start of the adventure, the DGR welcome over 125,000 motorcyclists in 2026.

Expected on the roads they pass through, these gentlemen hope to raise public awareness of men’s health (particularly regarding prostate cancer and its prevention, as well as mental health, with a focus on prevention of suicide) and to help science and research.

Supported by major brands from the motorcycling world, such as Triumph since 2014, Elf Lubricants (2017), Hedon Helmets (2015), Quad Lock (2023) and newcomer Brett Eyewear (2025), as well as auctions such as the one of Chris Pratt’s Triumph Scrambler motorbikes from Jurassic World, in 2015, the DGR has raised over $25 million since the beginning.

Did you know ? Mark Hawwa is also behind the SCR (Sydney Cafe Racers, founded in 2018)

and the ACR (Australian Cafe Racers), bringing together bikers inspired by Melbourne’s Cafe Racers for motorbike enthusiasts

Adhering to a unique and… mandatory ‘dress code’ – kind of the DGR’s trademark – the bikers taking part in The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, looking incredibly stylish in their outfits, also put on a particularly remarkable show.

So why don’t you make the most of it at the start in Uzès – one of the 67 rides scheduled this year across 13 regions of France – sign up to take part in the event by clicking on the link or find out more how to support men’s health.
