Hello Céline,

So nice to meet you. Could you introduce yourself in few words?

With a passionate nature, I love all manual arts: Painting, embroidery, kniting and now sewing, everything is possible and highly varied.

Where did you work before opening Couture et couleur?

For 26 years I worked in hotels, which was my very first job. Then I chose to move to business and managed a shop in Uzes for 10 years.

I always loved meeting people but I needed a new challenge. Here came sewing which open a new world to me. More intimate, more creative and where I felt free to work on whatever I wanted.

Any favorite cloth?

I am particularly fond of cotton, terry cloth, velvet... as well as, for its traditional look, typical of household linen, French Jacquart. African wax fabric, a cloth full of life, reminds me of Senegal, where I travelled many times.

Diversified creations for a brand with its own personality?

Well I do like to stand out whether it is for bags, pouches, cases, cushion covers and even scrunchies.

I love fashion and all my creations reflect my search for simple elegance, both joyful and colorful.

Sewing is an absorbing and fascinating activity!
