Marinated tempeh skewers

Recette tempeh maud simonelli

 

For 2 persons

Preparation 10 mn, cooking 10 mn, cooling 30 mn.

Ingredients: 100 g tempeh, 1 tomato, 1 zucchini, 1 white onion.

For the marinade: 1 tsp olive oil, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 teaspoon maple syrup, 1 teaspoon rice vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon mustard, 1 glove of garlic, 1 pinch of paprika, 1 pinch Cayenne pepper, 1 pinch of pepper.

 

 

Bd tempeh

 

Focus on tempeh: A traditional fermented soy dish native to Indonesia, tempeh differs from tofu with its crispy soybeans.

A well-known protein source, it is better fried after being marinated few minutes in a pickle

(try it with curcuma and coriander) or with a salty sauce.

 

 

 

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients of the marinade.

Cute tempeh in dice and put them in the marinade for about half an hour.

Chop the vegetables in large cubes.

Prepare each skewer alterning zucchini, tempeh, tomato, tempeh, oignon and so on.

Cook on barbacoa, plancha or in oven, basting with marinade from time to time to enhance the taste.

Prepare some mashed carrots & sweet potatoes to put on the side.
