FR - Here is a delicious and very simple recipe that will bring some Italian taste to your meals, shared by Danaê of Une pincée de sel in Montaren-et-Saint-Médiers.
Ingredients
One or two eggplants, tomatoe sauce (homemade is much better), mozzarella, some coarse salt, olive oil and some garlic.
Preparation
1st step
Wash carefully the eggplants and cut them in 1 cm slices, lengthwise.
Arrange them on a baking sheet, baste with olive oil and put some coarse salt.
Roast at 200° till the slices of eggplants become melted and delicately colored.
2nd step
Rub a baking dish with garlic then dress by sandwiching tomatoe sauce, eggplants, mozzarella and so on.
Bake at 200° till the preparation is nicely colored.
A table !
Enjoy the dish cold or hot, with a nice salad with... a delicious French dressing.
