La Big Family, an intergenerational party in Uzes

From the youngest guests at the Kids' Club to the elderly and other residents of the Uzège nursing homes, the festival is like a Pandora's box, where everyone can find a friend to talk to, an activity to discover, a hobby to share, with communication being paramount and the cornerstone of such an event.

La Big Family's concept is based on sharing and solidarity, bringing together not only different generations, but also different cultures and lifestyles, creating social and friendly bonds to form a family of the heart.

A free event open to all, La Big Family, whose team is made up of around sixty volunteers, attracted some 2,000 people to its first edition, a success that promises to be at least matched in the coming edition.

Its partners? In addition to the municipality (loan of the bishop's courtyard, communication, etc.), the CCPU, the media library network and the toy library, La Big Family also has the support of L'ARRU, FripSo, Radio Fuze and local businesses, many of which are collaborating on the event (including Dandys Dodus, Galerie 5 heures and La fille des vignes), as well as sports, leisure and cultural associations.
 
 
The programme

From noon to midnight in the garden of the Evêché, La Big Family will host a variety of activities: a wide range of workshops (well-being, massage, shiatsu, make-up, basket weaving, etc.), a children's circus tent, dance performances, video screenings and musical entertainment with a strong focus on pop culture, all cheerful and participatory (with notable participation from DJ Sand, for example, who brings his electro touch – read our paper DJ Sand, captivating techno) . Our four-legged friends have not been forgotten, with a Toutou's bar offering activities to share with our canine companions, in collaboration with Margot Tourayre.

And then... let's not forget the little extra treat with the food trucks invited for the occasion, where you can enjoy a meal or snack on delicious dishes in harmony with the Big Bar, which will treat you in its own unique way.

The organisers hope to build loyalty among participants and partners over the years, recalling the bond of friendship that inspired the event in the first place.
